3 Easy Steps to Explode LinkedIn Use of Sales

Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+ and Pinterest. This is a platform where many social media experts claim that these media can be a decisive factor in developing online marketing. Indeed it can be a very useful marketing tool, but there are other social networks that can be more effective in generating sales, that is LinkedIn.

While competitors are busy looking for ways to get "likes" on Facebook and send a barrage of tweets on Twitter, you can use different tactics on LinkedIn to build an online marketing system and generate profitable prospects.

Here are three steps to help turn your LinkedIn profile into a profitable machine:

1. Make a Call to Action


Do not just write your name and title on your headline. Instead, tell your network, who you have helped, and how you helped them. Describe the benefits you can provide, as this is really an effective way for business marketing, not with a degree. Next, create a clear article, then make a call for an action in the summary section, tell people in your network what you want them to do.

This call may be a phone, email, or just a visit to your site to register mailing lists. Even a simple call like, "Home first buyer? - click here "can have a significant impact on real estate agents. You can not be that easy just waiting for people to call or email. You have to ask them. It should also gather information about them in order to stay connected.

2. Create an Industry Specific Group at LinkedIn


Creating a LinkedIn group is one of the most effective ways to get your network excited and engaged on a particular topic while driving traffic to your website and increasing sales. For example, I formed the Sports Industry Network group in 2008 and has now grown to 90,000 members.

Since the group was formed, members started to interact and help each other, but I wanted to add more value to the group. So I started making free networking and webinar events where I interviewed sports business leaders. During the interview, experts offer free advice and talk about various secrets. Finally, the webinar attracted hundreds of participants, and that's when I started thinking about how to make money from them.

My design marketing strategy is simple: Promote a free webinar to my LinkedIn group and then make a bid at the end of the show, a tutorial or more help, including live events, personal consultation or access to my membership site.

Based on my experience, here are five lessons for creating a group of its own:

  • Identify the type of group you want to create and give a name that can clearly communicate the topic.
  • Reach out to the right people in your industry to let them know that you've created a group and want to showcase their skills in a live webinar.
  • Do something special to show your appreciation for the experts who are willing to join your group even if only by sending them a thank you card. Then, you can ask if they will post group links on their social networks and spread the word to attract people.
  • Continue by adding a value for hosting the webinar.
  • Provide premium to members by offering some of your business services at a discounted rate.


3. Active in LinkedIn FAQ


Regardless of your business, being actively questioned on LinkedIn is an effective way of maintaining relationships and increasing sales. Q & A is a place where users can write questions and get answers from members of the network. Since this is an opportunity to showcase your skills, answer questions clearly and avoid brand promotion. Be the source of answers without launching your company brand, product or service.

Here are 3 tips to answer questions on LinkedIn:

  • Find questions that you feel confident to answer and respond briefly.
  • Click on "reply privately" to notify the questioner that you have replied. There may be some answers posted so this may help draw attention to you.
  • Notify your target market people to help solve their problems and offer more detailed advice or strategies. At the end of the call, offer to provide a better solution if you need further assistance.


For maximum results in online marketing, you need to create a website. Fill out a website with a variety of information about your product or service, and include a contact number that can be youthful
