A company in Japan, Iris Ohyama requires employees to stand while working.

Unlike companies or office workers in general who sit in a chair with a computer set, this company makes different rules. The reason, because the habit of sitting for eight hours a day in front of the computer is considered unhealthy.

Reporting from Rocket News24, the rules imposed by the company in Miyagi Prefecture are intended for workers to stretch the thigh muscles if working by standing.

In addition to not being allowed to work by sitting, the plastics company until the pet food requires employees to use a unit together on one of the desks to be erected around the office.

However, the regulation was mentioned only for high-ranking employees. A manager who usually sits at the head of the table row sequence must also use a computer desk that stands.
